Cheryl Allen

Technical Writer/Web Developer

Responsibilities:
Cheryl Allen supports the Public Involvement Task of the Los Alamos Historical Document Retrieval and Assessment Project by providing public meeting logistics, production of meeting announcements and advertisements, web site development, and development of newsletters and fact sheets.

Qualifications:
  • M.A., English, New Mexico State University, 1993
  • B.S., Education, Teaching Endorsement in Journalism/English, New Mexico State University, 1983

Cheryl Allen's work at ChemRisk includes technical writing/editing and web development. She performs the same type of work as the owner of Windlestraw Documentation in Estancia, NM. She designs, writes, and provides quality control of technical documentation from initial concept to publication. Cheryl's specialties include web development, document design, and documentation systems design. She facilitates writing, editing, and production of technical reports, proposals, web sites, fact sheets, posters, presentations, and brochures. Web sites created feature animation and database interactivity with searches, forms, and templates.
