Nadine Tafoya

Responsibilities:
Nadine Tafoya provided training to the project team regarding special cultural considerations in evaluating potential health effects, and assists with implementation of a public involvement program for local Native American and Hispanic communities.

Qualifications:
  • Licensed Independent Social Worker
  • M.S., Social Work, New Mexico Highlands University, 1982
  • B.A., Social Work, College of Santa Fe, 1977

Nadine Tafoya is a Native American from the Pueblo of Santa Clara with much experience working with local tribes to address health issues in Northern New Mexico. She is a mental health professional who has lived and worked in Northern New Mexico for over twenty years.
